Children and Youth
At Church of the Resurrection we welcome children of all ages to be present with us during our worship service and fellowship time, but we understand that sometimes our youngest members might feel more comfortable playing on the floor than sitting in a pew, and that sometimes mom or dad might need a break! Our nursery is available during and after our worship service for parents and infants/toddlers to use, but we do not currently have a nursery attendant on-staff.
Elementary School
We currently offer Godly Play, a Montessori based curriculum for children aged 3-11, on Sunday mornings during the school year. Godly Play begins at 9:30 a.m. and continues until the children join us at Eucharist.
Middle School & High School
Our middle school and high school students meet together on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 a.m. during the school year to study the weekly lectionary readings and discuss how the week’s lessons apply to their own lives in a way that is fun and interesting!
Youth Group
Our middle school and high school youth are currently meeting for fun events with other Episcopal Youth groups in the Omaha area. For information about upcoming events, contact our youth group leader Gage Woodyard.
Adults
At Church of the Resurrection we understand that formation in Christian discipleship is a life-long process. Adult education offerings vary throughout the year. Currently we offer a Sunday morning adult forum from 9:30-10:15 AM, and an adult Bible study on Zoom Wednesday mornings at 10:00AM where we will study the lectionary readings for the coming Sunday.
