Addressing Hunger in Our Parish Community
Food Pantry
We minister to over 8,000 food-insecure families a year through our food pantry. The pantry runs every Tuesday evening and three Saturdays per month and serves between 150 and 350 individuals per week.
Three Gardens
We grow fresh produce in the St. Benedict’s gardens near the church. These gardens provide fresh, healthy vegetables to those in the North Omaha community. We have also volunteered our gardens for use in a multi-year University of Nebraska Urban Soil Research study.
The Little Free Pantry
For times of need. CoR keeps a Little Free Pantry, located in front of the church, stocked with non-perishable items. Take what you need, leave what you can.
