Sunday Worship Service
10:30 a.m. in-person and streamed on YouTube
As Christians, we are called not only to serve God, but also to express our praise and thanksgiving through worshipping God, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our worship at Resurrection is welcoming and inviting. We seek to welcome each person in our midst as we would welcome Chris, and we desire each service to be an invitation into a deeper relationship with God. We do this by using the historic prayers passed on to us through our Anglican heritage, using the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, but also by using more updated, expansive and inclusive language in how we talk about God and God’s people.
Our music at Resurrection is joyful and uplifting. We often mix traditional hymn singing with gospel and jazz all for the glory of God. We embrace the scriptures that say, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” Our choir director is Ms. Nola Jeanpierre and our fantastic Resurrection Choir leads us in our praise.
Each Sunday we celebrate Holy Eucharist. In receiving the consecrated Bread and Wine we are rejoined as the body of Christ in the world. We invite you to come join us in our celebration!
